- seeking for a proto-language There are many languages: verbal, written, musical, pantomimic, it can be said that visual language that appeared in the caves of the Stone Age long before written and spoken language appearance. Fine arts is that proto-language. Using a language, we can either talk or keep silence, we can listen, hear, understand and, after the understanding is complete – to add our own speech to the overall symphony. But what is so important to understand that a language is required? Of course the most important thing to understand is: who is a human being and what human position in the world is. During the Stone Age an artist named animals by picturing them and realized his / her own humanity via understanding of who is not he / she, i.e. "I'm not a horse", "I'm not a buffalo", "I'm not a jaguar". In the "Catacombs Age" an artist came to know about the existence of a Soul and its afterlife. Nowadays, "Steel Concrete Era" exhibits a personality that defends humanity vs. a common notion that "no individual is irreplaceable" and we all are components of a conveying mechanism of a consumption culture. "Caves, Catacombs, Ferroconcrete", an project is dedicated to this wonderful phenomenon, i.e. visual proto-language, threading together all human race history and appearing nowadays in its endless variety.
